• Not only Free London Freedom Pass, but nationwide Freedom Pass for bus, tram and train travel from age 60 men and women. 

Remember it was not the Tories, nor Tory Boris as London Mayor, who gave pensioners free bus passes. 

It was brought about by Greater London Council back in 1973, which Tories fought and succeeded in abolishing, because increasing of GLC's identification of local London government with politics that care about people, which Tories have never done.
This was especially so in London under GLC.
