HOW TO DEFUND THE POLICE YET BETTER PAY 

• End the highest ranks (no more promotion, end executive officers) 

• Sell off headquarters. 

• Return to more local police stations. 

• Better pay to Police up to Chief Inspector rank, doing their core role 

(ranks represented by Police Federation). 

• Go back to free Police houses, single or married. Giving you time to pay for the mortgage for your old peoples flats / housing specialist firms from age 50 (capped prices for 25 to 30 years mortgages).

• Back to inside jobs for Police injured in line of duty.

• Better works pensions paid at age 50 in full.

• Recruit 45,000 more Police Officers. 

• End accelerated promotion for having a university degree. 

• Better pay for Police civilians. 

SCENES OF CRIME OFFICERS 

• Free tuition fees for Police civilian Scenes of Crimes Officers (staying minimum 10 years working for Police after free training).

• By no senior ranks above Police Chief Inspector, more funding for sending burglary and other crime items to forensic labs. 

• Work towards inhouse Scenes of Crime labs, with direct-employed scientists. 

TURN PCSOs (Police Community Support Officers aka plastic bobbies) INTO REGULARS 

• No more plastic bobbies and Specials (unpaid volunteers).

• Free tuition for PCSOs to train as Regular Police Officers. 

POLICE WOMEN 

• Stab vests / uniforms designed for women.

POLICE DOG HANDLERS 

• More Police dogs as sniffer dogs with wider uses, so more Police Dog Handlers jobs.

NO POLICE DRUG UNITS 

• Legalisation of drugs, with focus turned to NHS mental health addiction prevention and treatment, and preventing getting on drugs in first place. 

RURAL POLICE SERVICE 

• More Rural police stations, or mobile Police Posts, against wildlife theft, sheep worrying and livestock rustling. 

STOP AND SEARCH TARGETTED ON KNOWN CRIMINALS AND NOT BAME 

• To do disruption of career criminals by Stop and Search and not because of non-white race. 

CYBERCRIME 

• Fund Cybercrime Police Unit. 

DOMESTIC ABUSE AND STALKING 

• Look for best practice worldwide for law better able to prevent domestic abuse, without needing victim to make formal complaint (Police gather evidence) and how to prevent Stalking, that can lead, sadly, all too often to murder of the victim. 

• Look into if best to temporarily take to police cells the abuser, to give time for the wife and children to escape to a Refuge? 

• Fully fund National domestic abuse Refuges. 

END TAKING AND LOOKING THROUGH RAPE VICTIM’S MOBILE PHONE 

• Ban analysis of rape victim’s mobile phone and other electronic devices, social media or personal records, current and in the past.  

• Fully fund National rape crisis centres. 

• Fully fund paedophile / incest victims’ crisis centres. 

MINIMUM STANDARD SERVICE ENTITLEMENT 

• Law for minimum standard service entitlements from criminal justice agencies. 

END PREVENT 

• End Prevent programme. 

• Seek advice on new measures against extreme or violent radicalisation. 

MAKE INVESTIGATORY POWERS PROPORTIONATE 

• Judicial oversight over how and when investigatory powers are used, for terrorist and criminal offences. To protect individual rights and civil liberties. 

EUROPEAN ARREST WARRANTS 

• Retain membership of cross-border Eurojust and Europol. 
  
  
• Continue European Arrest Warrant arrangements. 

UTILISE NHS WOMEN SPECIALIST SCHOOL NURSES TO PREVENT FEMALE GENITAL MUTILATION IN GIRLS 

• Female school nurses to undertake check to ensure girls do not suffer female genital mutilation (as said by Muslim women who educate on the issue, for example, is not a requirement of Islam religion). To inform Police, if found. 

LAW AND FGM

• Both parents of FGM suffered girl to have their girl children taken into care and for the parents to lose their British citizenship and be deported, alongside sons. 

• The person undertaking FGM on the girls also to lose their British citizenship and be deported, along with partner and sons, with their girl children taken into care. 

For example, America deports parents who do FGM to their girl children.

• Register deported parents as violent paedophiles to country Police where deported to.

• Kinship fostering / adoption of Islamic & Christian and Copt Christian girls taken into care, by same religion ladies who campaign against FGM. May need Police protection for social services doing this task from home of girl?

• Not to be intimidated against calling FGM blasphemy to Muslims and Christians and Copt Christians, as the practice predates Islam and Christianity and so is pagan. 

• There is no requirement for ethnic identity for FGM. 

• Holding annual UK Zero Tolerance of FGM by Islamic  / Christian / Copt Christian women campaigners, with Islamic / Christian / Copt Christian female Police Officers / female doctors / nurses giving talks to potential mothers.

BACKGROUND TO ANTI-FGM CAMPAIGN

*Ismail Yahya, a former Islamic jurist in the east coast state of Terengganu in Malaysia, questioned the practice of FGM as there are no religious texts to support female circumcision. A paper by Isa et al., (1999) titled, ‘The practice of female circumcision among Muslims in Kelantan.’ – another east coast state in Malaysia, suggested that “there is evidence that in at least some parts of the Muslim world, FGM is a practice of culture, not of religion, because it was practised even before Islamisation took place.”

No health benefits

The WHO has stated that FGM carries no health benefits and is harmful to females. Immediate complications can include severe pain, excessive bleeding, genital tissue swelling, urinary problems, infections and even death. 

FGM also comes with long term effects such as menstrual problems, sexual problems, increased risk of childbirth complications and psychological problems.

According to media reports, the practice of FGM has decreased in recent years as the UN strives for a total elimination of FGM by 2030, following the spirit of Sustainable Development Goal 5.
