TELEVISION 

• End BBC TV LICENCE and shut down BBC. Keep Freeview (which shows ITV repeats of period dramas anyway). 

• Only keep BBC Breakfast programmes for government information about changes coming with Over 50s party’s government. Self-funded with adverts before and after the programme. 

• Grant Channel 4 television (currentlyself funding public broadcaster) to all trade union ownership, combined, by government requisition. Is being sold off from Queens Speech in May 2022. 
 

• Law that Channel 4 television news and documentaries by Over 50s party are shown at peak viewer times. 

• Block American news channel from UK internet access. 

NEWSPAPER and TELEVISION & RADIO NEWS 

• Shut down all local and national newspapers and television and radio news programmes, that anyway are owned only by very rich men, giving only their view of the world, that is not the working-class experience. 

• Help fund new start-ups that give the reality of working-class social history and women’s social history, in particular. Focus on UK history and current stories. Not foreign news. These new start-ups to educate against the ageist sexism (misogyny) against women aged over 50 in UK. 

• Work with mobile technology companies towards ensuring no new start-up newspaper or television / radio news, can ever again mobile phone hack victims just to get a story. 

• Pause system where WH Smiths charges rent for a newspaper or magazine to be on their shelves, to give time for the new start-ups to get circulation. 

• Fund a magazine giving the her-story (not just his-story) of the misery of the theft of half a decade of 1950s born women’s state and works pensions. Giving the reality of the worldwide attack on the state pension, by the global lies and deceit against it, the Fund that pays for it, and pensioners in general. And how all major parties were equally complicit. 

SOAPS ON TELEVISION 

• Fund soaps to have storylines to show the misery of the theft of half a decade of 1950s born women’s state and works pensions, and now the 1960s born, the next victims. 

• Fund soaps to have storylines to show the misery of the loss of Pension Credit from age 60 for men and women, the I Daniel Blakes beyond Ken Loach. 

TAX ON SUBSCRIPTION TELEVISION CHANNELS 

• Keep the online subscription channels (but without news content), but have them pay a bit more tax, to help resurrect public NHS. 

SOME NEWS PROGRAMMES KEPT BUT MUST NOT PEDDLE THE LIES AGAINST STATE PENSION 

• Keep permission for Al Jazeera and UK RT News broadcast in UK, but challenge the lies and deceit against state pensions and pensioners, especially to women. 

• Change the staff of Ofcom, with entire new staff appointed by Over 50s party government.
 

• Not shut down current left wing, socialist and communist online newspapers, but have them (on every page) inform that they are ageist sexist (misogynist) against women aged over 50 and pensioners in general, so women and elderly are aware. 

FACEBOOK 

• Curtail Facebook censoring from an American point of view, granting UK viewpoints. 

• Research beginning an Over 50s party social media channel. 

GREECE AND CYPRUS TELEVISION CHANNELS BY SUBSCRIPTION 

• Give Greece and Cyprus Greek television channels access to UK subscriptions.
