• We will support Kinship Care by the extended family, instead of state care in a care home or fostering.
• End commercial fostering agencies.
• Housing benefit from age 16.
• Build more properly affordable social housing, of one-bedroomed terraced homes for single person occupancy.
• Bring European Convention on the Rights of the Child into UK domestic law.
• For people on benefits and very low wages, fund child burial fees for bereaved parents.
